Fashion American Icon
Zelda Wynn Valdes was the first Black woman to own a boutique on Broadway in 1948. Her contribution to fashion is the creation of low cut body hugging silhouettes that accentuate the curves of a woman's body. She is the creator of the original playboy bunny suit and an American Fashion Icon that doesn’t get showcased enough.
