“I want people to feel overwhelmed with love in this cold ass world."

Our earliest memories of love are attached to music. There once was a time that love was the main topic. Soft love, genuine love, forbidden love. It was clever, encompassing, and deeply moving. Today, the genre still possesses those enduring qualities but unfortunately we live in a world that shies away from monogamy and glorifies toxicity.  As a nod to love and black history,  we wanted to curate something that not only made us remember why we love R&B, moreover why we love, love. Our longest playlist to date has over 26 hours of songs devoted to love, spanning through five to six decades of soul. Starting with Black Musical legends like The Jackson 5 and the O’Jays, expanding to 90s vocal powerhouses like Faith Evans, Mary J Blige, & the tight harmonious sounds of Jagged Edge & Dru Hill, this extensive work of art comes to a close featuring up and coming superstars like Coco Jones and Victoria Monet. Experience the sounds of love through the music that raised generations and got us to where we are now, we hope you feel at home. In the midst of all the turmoil and division, it was important for us to highlight that despite what the world tries to portray about us culturally, one of if not the most important attributes of blackness was, is, and will always remain, love. #ThisisR&B
